Services typically include:

ANNOUNCEMENTS: This part of the service helps keep members, friends and guests informed of activities happening in our community.

A CHILDREN'S STORY: On the first weekend of the month, children participate in the first part of services. There is a story or a special message from the minister or from a member of the congregation. The children then go to their classes.

JOYS & CONCERNS: Community connections are strengthened through this weekly sharing of personal joys and concerns.

MUSIC: The congregation often sings two hymns together during the service.  Many services feature special musical performances by members or other musicians, including a monthly performance by the choir.

TIME FOR MEDITATION AND PRAYER: This is a time when people may choose to pray, meditate, or simply enjoy a moment of reflection.

SERMON: Our Senior Minister, Rev. Roger Bertschausen, speaks at most services on a variety of topics. Roger is an engaging and thought provoking speaker. His sermons feel more like a personal conversation than a one sided view from the pulpit. Jason Seymour, our Interim Assistant Minister also speaks at some services. We also have some of our members or outside speakers give the message when our Ministers are not available. Past sermons can be found here.

CONGREGATIONAL RESPONSE: In this portion of the service, all present are given the opportunity to respond to the main message with questions and comments. People often cite this as their favorite aspect of the services.

Assistive listening devices and large print hymnals are available.
