FELLOWSHIP WEDNESDAY PROGRAM Paths to Partnership – UU Partner Church Council Wednesday, February 10; 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM Facilitator: Lee Boeke Burke Participants: Min. 10 The new Paths to Partnership program of the UU Partner Church Council offers ways that individuals, families, and small groups such as covenant groups, youth groups and various committees can engage in partnership with UUs around the world. Whether you have interest in helping a child in the Philippines go to school when she/he would not be able to otherwise, would like to support an independent livelihood project through a microfinance program, would like to see a whole community supported as they work together to provide basic needs for their citizens or would like to help an emerging UU congregation in Africa create a physical space for their worship and an identity as a religious community, this program has much to offer you. Come learn about all the exciting ways UUs are supporting UUs and living out our sixth principle: the goal of world community with peace, liberty and justice for all. Lee Boeke Burke is a member of the Fellowship and has been very active in the world of UU International partnerships over the past 9 years. In addition to being an active member of our Fellowship’s Deva Partner Church Committee, she serves on the Communication and RE Committees of the UU Partner Church Council.
